I love this animation, and FLCL reigns supreme.

I feel so bad about this, its a lovely movie, dont get me wrong, but watching him sit there, at whatever lifes mercy will bring, is sad. Him getting grazed by the bullet, taking its searing pain in the un-changing scream of agony.
